Banban, also known as The Devil [1], Uthman Adam[1], and Case 6[1], is the main mascot of Banban's Kindergarten and is an ally to the player throughout the majority of the series.

Banban is focused and inexpressive, as he struggles to deal with a self-created delusion about his identity [2]and the aggressive Hellish form's primal instincts. He is cautious, especially around the player, and speaks in a very monotone manner.[3]
Hellish[]
Hellish Banban is a Monster with a thirst for pancreases. He is known to smell pancreas from a mile away in this form. This form is cruel, deranged and feral, regardless of that he is capable of human speech.
Young[]
Young Banban appears to be less troubled then he ends up being when he grows up. He has quite an ego, seeing himself as the natural leader of the other cases. In the game, he displays manipulative tendencies. He is also a more selfish and hypocritical individual than his adult version, as he frees Ramamba by letting Flumbo die and also lies to him that it's a โsurprise he'll likeโ and locks him in a closet out of his own sense of jealousy. Young Banban is also best friends with case 8 Nabnab until some unseen event seems to ruin the friendship by the time they are older.
Young Hellish[]
The young hellish version behaves almost identically to the adult version. However, it is shown that he is willing to protect his friends when fighting with Ramamba.

Banban is a tall, red humanoid figure, with two party hats sitting on two horns on his head. He has two round, black eyes and a toothless mouth, with a long flaccid tongue.
Monster[]
Banban's monster form is nearly identical to his depiction. The only big difference was his veiny skin caused by Givanium. He however had a different posture, with his hands behind his back. He also had the ability to speak fluently.
Hellish[]
Banban's Hellish form had a much more muscular body, his party hats are now gone, revealing devil horns that had a spiral-like pattern similar to the ones on the party hats. His eyes were fully white and a lot larger, not to mention triangular, and his mouth was contoured to a grin with a sharp set of teeth and a darker tongue.Gameplay[]
Garten of Banban II[]
Banban is the titular deuteragonist of Garten of Banban II'. While he only appears twice, he is still a major playing force. He initially poses as a victim trapped inside a security room instructing the Player, before tricking them and knocking them out, bringing them to the Medical Sector. Then he appears behind the glass in the Assembly Room, where he reveals he is helping the "Player" and searching for the missing children.
Garten of Banban III[]
In Garten of Banban III, he reveals at the beginning of the game that he is prone to violent instincts and can be very aggressive, thus deciding to stay away from the Protagonist. Despite this, he still helps the Player by instructing them to go to Stinger Flynn, who knows more about the missing children's whereabouts. Later, during the first of Stinger Flynn's flashbacks playing in Stinger Flynn Mode, we are shown a cutscene where Stinger Flynn is in a boat while Banban is looking at him in his Hellish form and talking about his lack of organs, in particular bemoaning the lack of a pancreas. He is captured by Stinger Flynn near the end of the game and transformed into his Hellish form in the final chase sequence with Opila Bird and Tarta Bird, where the Player must make the correct bird cross the light first to survive. After the chase, he fights Jumbo Josh before being knocked out by him. Before Jumbo Josh can do anything else, he gets interrupted by Stinger Flynn.
Garten of Banban IV[]
In Garten of Banban IV, after getting the first piece of the elevator, he arrives at the Infirmary. Once The Player meets with Banban, he tells the Player that his Hellish form isn't him, forcing him to obey regardless of what he wants. He makes up for it by helping the player gather another missing piece of the Elevator as he believes he is more in control. After some rest, he meets up with the Player at the Transportation Station. While going through the Transportation Tunnels he introduces himself as Uthman though his belief that he is Uthman is false. He says that he could have prevented this whole situation but his coworkers suddenly turned on him. This is when he was created. Everything before that is him remembering Uthman Adam's memories thinking they are his. They walk through the Purple Catwalk but Jumbo Josh suddenly jumps out from below attempting to eat some vegetables. However the vegetables were actually a trap set by Sheriff Toadster so Jumbo Josh could be captured. After going through the double doors in the Feeding Sector, Banban takes Mr. Kabob Man off his back, presumably to give him to Zolphius, when suddenly, Nabnab jumps on the railing and grabs Mr. Kabob Man, forcing Banban and the Player to chase after him. Right after making it through the -4 Parkour Room, Banban manages to corner Nabnab in a locked room and they begin to fight. Nabnab has the upper hand at first, but Banban transforms into his Hellish Form and throws Nabnab into a wall, knocking him out. Banban is then shown sitting on the floor with Givanium spilled on the floor, most likely injured after the fight. He tells the Protagonist that he can control himself and mentions he has something to do first, allowing the Player to grab the second elevator piece from the room.
Garten of Banban VI[]
Banban runs with The Player and Bittergiggle at the end of the game.
When Sir Dadadoo & all of the Naughtified Monsters corner The Player and Banban, Banban sacrifices himself to fight Sir Dadadoo and his army of monsters saying โIโll hold them off... find the surgeonโ. The Player activates the worker lift, descending to the next level, as she hears the violent sounds of all of the cases above ripping Banban apart. Luckily, he survives.Story[]
2000 - 2016 | Event 8[]
Banban, was one of the first mascots to be created, referred to as Case 6. The workers of Banban's Kindergarten initially tried bringing him to life using a human like circulatory system but due to the failure of that experiment, the staff transferred his circulatory system to a Givanium based system instead of the much less capable mammalian system. Case 6 coming to life resulted in him following the behavior of other cases who had human genome donors, which is them remembering many memories that belong to the original human donor, in this case the memories of Uthman Adam as he was the donor. Due to the human genome existing within Case 6, he has been observed eating and drinking despite him not needing to. Strangely, like all of the previous cases that are alive, he described a constant pain inside of him that cannot be completely explained. Case 6 is capable of many other things, such as fluent speech, high intelligence similar to his donor, and, because of his primary gene being human, he is docile and cooperative yet incredibly confused by his lab experiment status since he believes he is Dr. Uthman Adam, who is the experimenter.

After successfully creating Banban, they decided to attempt to make him realize that he is fact Banban, not Dr. Adam Uthman. So to accomplish this they begin a private meeting between Banban, & Dr. Uthman Adam.2000 - 2016 | Event 10 (Banban's Meeting with Adam Uthman) =[]
The meeting between Adam Uthman and Banban likely takes place inside of Banbanโs cell. During the meeting, Banban first treated Adam Uthman like any other stranger they've met by shaking hands, even though Banban thinks he is Adam Uthman. Adam then began explaining that he was the original genome donor for Banban. Adam then tried to start explaining some of the science behind the Givanium procedures, but while he was talking, Banban suddenly became extremely angry and tried to attack the doctor, but was stopped by security. Adam Uthman suffered minor injuries and Banban was placed in solitary confinement. This cause Banban to lose his mind only repeating the words: "Givanium", "Pancreas", "Weverly", and "Adam".
2000 - 2016 | Event 12[]
Banban repeatedly asks to see Dr. Weverly Mason, specifically because she is Dr. Adam Uthman's best friend, therefore she is Banban's best friend in his mind. But because of his last meeting with Adam, his requests are ignored.
2000 - 2016 | Event 13[]
Banbaleena is created to help with the Banban situation. Originally, Banbaleena acted identical to Banban prior to his introduction to Adam Uthman, and because of that situation with Banban, Banbaleena would not meet her human genome donor. Banbaleena was placed into Banban's room where he was crying in the corner, Banbaleena is asked to walk closer to Banban who starts looking up at her, he then rushes at Banbaleena, hugging her and going back to the corner. Banbaleena is instructed to leave the room. After Banbaleena met Banban, she became more and more uncooperative every day. Banban hugged Banbaleena because her genome donor is Dr. Weverly Mason.
2000 - 2016 | Event 15[]
In order to solve Banban's insanity problems, Banban is injected with a new Givanium solution that limits his intelligence and other brain activity, but this creates even more problems. At first it seemed like the solution worked, but Banban began shaking in extreme stomach pain and eventually the scientists realized that they had unintentionally created Banbanโs Hellish form.
October 23rd 2016 | Event 30 (Bring a Friend Day)[]
It was planned that six cases (being Stinger Flynn, Banban, Banbaleena, Captain Fiddles, Opila Bird, and Jumbo Josh)[4] would be present on Bring a Friend Day, but many were behind in development, with the only cases ready for presentation being Case 12G (Captain Fiddles) and Case 13 (Stinger Flynn). Despite this, the six chosen cases were brought to the Outer Sector to be presented to the children, their friends, parents, workers, and the company owners. During this time, the cases present acted as they were supposed to. Uthman Adam and Weverly Mason were inside of the facility during the event, but planned to sneak out and board a flight to Madrid, Spain as they suspected that the Ball Pit was likely to collapse under the weight of the children on it.[5] Sooner than expected, the Ball Pit collapsed under the weight, killing the children in the ball pit, and setting off a chain reaction that would destroy the facility.
Zolphius awakened in the abyss, Banban transformed into his Hellish form, and the animalistic instincts of the rest of the mascots were triggered causing them to break out of their cells and to go on a murderous rampage after the children, workers, and parents.[6][7] It also caused something dangerous to escape deep on level -4 of the kindergarten, as mentioned by one worker left on floor -4 in the Employee Training Sector. [8] Queen Bouncelia and Sheriff Toadster also heard the screams, and Sheriff Toadster witnessed some of the chaos above, making him believe his friends had gone mad and thus labelled them as criminals. A surgery in the Arboreal/Aquatic Sector was also taking place during Bring a Friend Day, preformed on Nabnaleena with the doctors completing everything except the Givanium injections. However, before they could complete the final steps to bring Nabnaleena to life, they heard the screams from above. Nabnab broke out of his containment, causing the doctors to abort the surgery and eventually suffering an unknown fate.
Stinger Flynn did not participate in the rampage, instead saving the living children from other monsters and taking them and Mason deeper into the facility.[9] Stinger Flynn took the group to a variety of areas, and at one point threw a party to distract the children.[10] A while later, Zolphius appeared and Mason told the children to not talk to him, and at some point after Stinger Flynn left.[11] [12] It is unkown what happened to Uthman Adam.
2017 - 202? | Event 35 (Garten of Banban II)[]
The Player wakes up laying on the Worker Lift, which is crushing a currently unconscious Jumbo Josh who has suffered injuries to his head, and body causing permanent marks on his body, The Player proceeds out to The Hub, where they then enter the Communications Sector, and hear Banban pretending to be a human security guard. He explains that he walked into the Security Office and the doors locked behind him. He asks for help getting out. He opens the Break Room and sends them to the Maintenance room, in the Maintenance Room Nabnab runs out of the darkness and begins pursuit of The Player. The Player manages to escape to the stairs, where Nabnab, whoโs locked in tunnel vision, smashes into the wall, knocking him out. The Player escapes the situation, rushing to the Security Office to let Banban, or whoever they think is the security guard, out. When they enter the room, no one is inside, and there is a note on the table. The Note reads, "If you read this fast enough, you might be able to escape, but Iโm going to hit you very, very hard :)" and before they are able to finish reading it, Banban strikes them in the back of their head explaining that he has captured you to have the perfect surgical specimen as well as all their keycards. Banban then takes the unconscious body of The Player to the Medical Sector where he presumably performs surgery on them. He then stitches The Player back up and dumps their body in the Storage Room of the Medical Sector.
2017 - 202? | Event 39 (Assembly)[]
Somewhere in the facility an unknown being calls assembly just as The Player enters the Assembly Room and following the protocols of ASSEMBLY, the facility automatically shut the door behind them, locking The Player in the middle of the most dangerous room in the facility. Banban rises up from an unknown area riding a Worker Lift behind a piece of reinforced glass. He tells The Player that ASSEMBLY has been called and all of the walkways opened with all of the monsters converging upon the room. Jumbo Josh's hand comes out of his door and Banbaleena runs out of hers. The Player follows the instructions of Banban and runs through Opila Bird's walkway in an attempt to escape.
2017 - 202? | Event 40 (Garten of Banban III)[]
The Player reaches the last functional level of the kindergarten (-3) before everything went wrong on Bring a Friend Day. Banban, who is happy to see the player, explains why he shouldn't help the player face to face, being that he is "prone to violent instincts", referencing his Hellish form and says that he doesn't trust himself to not let himself accept his violent ways. Banban tells the player to talk to Stinger Flynn at the Aquatic sector.
2017 - 202? | Event 41 (Nabnaleena's Surgery)[]
Banban says that some scientists thought that Nabnab was aggressive because he was lonely, and that they had a solution: to make Nabnaleena. Banban explains as if he was Dr. Uthman Adam that the procedure was interrupted during the Bring a Friend Day incident, and the hardest part of the procedure was done. He tells the player that he just had to inject the correct givanium mix into Nabnaleena to bring her to life for the first time.
2017 - 202? | Event 42[]
After her procedure, Nabnaleena is loose, and the player is given the spider assembly audio tape. Banban tells the player to return to the Aquatic sector and play the audio tape on the lounge speaker. The Player calls the assembly and the two spiders meet, after Banban says that he feels that they should have been mutants, he's cut off as Stinger Flynn comes from the abyss knocking out Nabnab and taking his body, and Nabnaleena runs back to Nabnab's room in a hurry as the door closes.
2017 - 202? | Event 45 (Bird Race)[]
Using Mr. Kabob Man, the Player lures one of the Opila Chicks into a frenzy, running away from the protection of Opila Bird and Tarta Bird, who are guarding the Opila Chick. The Player grabs the baby bird, causing Tarta Bird to jump down and begin chasing the Player, but the Player jumps onto Tarta Bird's back, taming the bird. Soon after, Opila Bird jumps down and the two enter the room in front of them with the Player placing the baby bird on Opila's Back. Stinger Flynn rises from the abyss with a knocked out Banban in hand. He explains that Banban has somehow allowed him to find out about very important information and using his powers, he transforms Banban into his hellish form. From there Banban gets up and begins chasing the Player and the birds as they partake in a testing area that was meant to race Opila Bird and Tarta Bird, letting each one go forwards and backwards to allow the correct bird to enter the next door first. Eventually they reach the Monster Fight.
2017 - 202? | Event 46 (Monster Fight)[]
The event starts after the bird race ends with the Player riding on Tarta Birdโs back into another section of the room with Opila Bird and a Baby Opila Bird riding on her back. Hellish Banban, chases Tarta Bird and he Player into a room. Upon catching up, Feral Banban tells the Player, "You can run away, but the smell of your pancreas will always draw me to you...". Before he kills The Player, Jumbo Josh unexpectedly stomps into the room, shaking the entire room with every step and getting Banban's attention. This distraction allows Tarta Bird and The Player, who are soon followed by Opila Bird and her baby, to escape to a higher and safer area where they watch as the fight escalates. Jumbo Josh stomps closer and closer until Banban jumps onto him, where he begins punching Jumbo Josh over and over again but Jumbo Josh is tottaly unphased by this and just picks Banban off of him like a fly and throws him onto the floor before crushing him into the round with his left hand. Before Jumbo Josh could use both of his hands to kill Banban, he is interrupted by Stinger Flynn, who pushes Jumbo Josh away before emerging from the darkness. He then orders Jumbo Josh to stop and goes in with his stinger attempting to put Jumbo Josh into a dream state, but the Jumbo Josh immediately dodges Stinger Flynn before grabbing him. He then shows his true strength by throwing Stinger Flynn to the ground with all his strength, shaking the entire facility, the shaking causing Tarta Bird to lose his balance and fall onto the concrete floor below. Horrified by this, Opila Bird looks at the Player, letting them know that she is entrusting them to take care of her child, before jumping down to save Tarta Bird. The Player and the Opila Chick proceed to the next room, leaving a knocked out Banban, Jumbo Josh, and Stinger Flynn, and an injured Opila Bird and Tarta Bird behind. They are left with one message when advancing to floor B3, "find the kingdom, find the sheriff, and avoid Bittergiggle."
2017 - 202? | Event 49 (Nabnab Chase)[]
Banban and The Player come to a large opening to the abyss. Banban grabs Mr. Kabob Man off his back and sets him down, he calls Zolphius with the intention of giving Mr. Kabob Man to him. Just after Banban calls Zolphius, Nabnab jumps out and steals Mr. Kabob man and begins running away. Banban quickly chases after them with the player following shortly behind. Unfortunately the Player is slower than Nabnab and Banban so by the time the Player catches up to them, Banban had already corned Nabnab behind a glass wall. The player watches as Nabnab begins to fight Banban, but eventually Banban loses control of himself and transforms into his hellish form whom Nabnab doesn't stand a chance against. Hellish Banban begins beating up Nabnab until eventually knocking him unconscious and throwing his body at the wall. Banban collapses on the ground in a manic state.
2016-202? | Event 51 (Entering Floor -5, GOBB VI / THE NAUGHTIFICATION)[]
After the escape of the Naughty ones the player sets out on a mission to find all 4 buttons on floor -5 which all must be activated to open a door to the Scepter room. In the Scepter Room there is a chest containing The Scepter. After activating all 4 buttons Banban, The Player, & Bittergiggle enter the Scepter Room when suddenly Nabnab comes and presses the button to open the chest. Inside of the chest is The Scepter except it is missing a piece which was taken by The Surgeon who fled with it after the escape of The Naughty Ones. Sir Dadadoo moves into the room with his leeches following shortly behind. In an attempt to escape Banban pretends to make friends with Nabnab but just as Nabnab is calmed Banban pulls out a syringe likely filled with the same solution that made him hellish and injects it into Nabnab which instantly turns him into his newly created Hellish form. Hellish Nabnab attacks Sir Dadadoo allowing Banban, Bittergiggle, & The Player to flee into the garden with a Naughty One following behind. The 3 exit the garden arriving at 2 worker lift shafts, one has a lift, and the other doesn't. Bittergiggle realizes that the Naughty Ones actually laugh at his jokes so he chooses to fall into the empty shaft so that he can become their Jester. Banban and The Player continue ahead and get onto the 2nd lift but Sir Dadadoo follows them and corners the exit revealing that he has captured and Naughtified almost all of the Banban Gang. Banban steps out of the lift to hold off the Naughtified monsters and allow the Player to escape with the hope that they will find The Surgeon and free everyone. The Naughtified Cases brutally tear Banban apart covering him in scratch marks and ripping out his left eye, Banban quickly succumbs to his injuries...Trivia[]
- Banban's catchphrase "Sharing is caring! Your pancreas is mine!" changes to "Sharing is caring! What's yours is mine!" after sending Opila Bird down the Ball Pit (implying it was either discarded or changed).
- Givanium monsters don't need to eat but in the Garten of Banban III in his hellish form he was hungry and wanted to eat our pancreas.
- Him pretending to be a Security guard involved a brief game mechanic where you had to wave the remote at the camera (which is the only time this has appeared so far).
- A child's drawing of Banban in Garten of Banban III shows him with a tail, yet neither his Depiction nor Monster form has this feature. This is probably a reference to him being called "The Devil" in the Case Update Reports.
- It was revealed in Garten of Banban III that Banban is obsessed with the human pancreas (especially when he is Hellish), as Stinger Flynn mentioned that the only thing he's been thinking about while helping the Player was pancreases. Even his catchphrase, which is oddly different from the others, says: "Sharing is caring! Your pancreas is mine!".
- The s of Garten of Banban refer to Banban as "Flumbo", which is the original name given for Banban with the game being called Flumbo and Friends.
- It was actually foreshadowed that Banban would hit the player in Garten Of Banban II, because of an unused note that was shown in the parkour room saying "Behind You". The behind you note ended up being replaced by the child's note involving Stinger Flynn.
- In Garten of Banban IV, Banban introduces himself as Uthman.
- This is related to how Banban's donor is Uthman Adam, because he still believes he is him.
- There is an error where Banban's subtitles say "What are friend for" instead of "What are friends for".
- In the 8th game's teaser, Banban is seen alive, meaning he survived the fight in which he last appeared in-game.
- Banban can be seen in the original kindergarten family. This could imply that he was the most popular mascot, and the owners were going to make a version of him as inspiration, but it was scrapped.
- He knows how to play the guitar.
- He locks Flumbo in a closet at the end of Garten of Banban 0, but it is unknown whether he did so on the Syringeon's orders or on his own desire to replace him. It is also unknown if he repents at all.
- In Garten of Banban 0, he takes a love interest in Banbaleena and thinks Banbalena is secretly in love with him, though she really isn't.
- Banban the only character who appears in two game banners on Steam (in this case, on the banner of Garten of Banban II and Garten of Banban 0).
- In Garten of Banban 0, Syringeon says to Banban "You can control it. I know you can." In Garten of Banban 4, Banban repeats Syringeon's words after fighting with Nabnab: "I can control it. I know I can..."
- There is an inconsistency regarding Banban's age. In a flashback of Garten of Banban 3, when Stinger Flynn (Case 13) was first created, Banban was already an adult. However, in Garten of Banban 0, Banban and Bittergiggle (Case 17) are both juvenile, even though Bittergiggle was created after Stinger Flynn.
