Discussions Policy

List

1. Swearing is allowed, but not when directed at other users or used to intentionally hurt them.
   • If someone uses this to hurt someone they will be warned and the reply/message/post will be deleted, upon repeated violations administrators may choose if the repeated violation warrants further action or another warning.
   • If a user is given 3 warnings for breaking this rule a further violation will result in a block time between 1 day - 3 weeks chosen at the discretion of the blocking administrator.
2. Be nice and treat people with respect. Keep discussions civil and be open-minded about differing opinions.
   • Violation of this rule results in a warning, if the user has been given many warnings for violating this rule in addition to other rule violations an administrator has permission to block the user for any time they deem fit including indefinite, they may also wipe all posts from the person if the selected block time is longer than 6 months.
3. Threads and posts that exist for the sake of soliciting Likes, will be deleted.
   • These include posts like "Found this on the __ wiki".
4. Off-topic conversations must be added under the "Off Topic/Memes" category or they will be moved to said category.
   • This cannot result in block time, staff must inform a user how to put their post in the proper category if they do not know how.
5. Impersonation of other users or famous people will not be tolerated regardless of if their is permission from the person being impersonated. If you have been banned and return on a new account, your posts will be deleted and your new account(s) will be banned permanently.
6. Spamming or vandalizing of any kind will be deleted and will lead to your account being banned.
   • Small vandalisms such as changing a simple parameter in an infobox like changing Banban's status to Deceased will result in a warning, 2 violations or more will result in a block time between 1 week and 2 weeks. Other vandalisms on larger things can be included in this category if the vandalism is made in good faith with incorrect information.
   • Medium vandalisms like changing large sentences in pages, blanking pages, and more will result in block times ranging between 1 week and 3 months.
   • Large vandalisms include repeated examples of the previous categories, these will result in multiple year blocks or infinite blocks. Additionally all reference to the user on discussions or any pages will be removed in accordance with rule 13.
7. Obsessing, Harassing, and Stalking users or people outside of the wiki will result in being banned. Sexual harassment and e dating are also against the rules.
   • Harassment is defined as a user repeatedly interacting with another user against their will, harassment is only considered as such if the interactions took place over more than 2 days and the user being harassed specifically asked to be left alone.
   • Sexual Harassment is defined as unwarranted sexual remarks, images, or sharing of information relating to said things. For someone to be banned for Sexual Harassment the user who was harassed must agree to it.
8. Raiding the wiki and then making posts that break the rules or expressing extreme hatred for the Garten of Banban series and community will result in being blocked and all of your posts being deleted.
9. Hating people for their gender, race, or sexuality will result in being blocked and your violating posts being deleted.
   • This follows the same rules as rule 2 except warnings are eliminated and blocks are allowed to be much more harsh. Obvious racism, sexism, or homophobia will be deleted and the poster will be permanently blocked and a global block request shall be initiated with fandom staff.
10. Sensitive content such as suicide, self harm, rape, sexual assault, and others will be deleted and result in a warning or if the content can be redacted it will.
    • Redaction is described in rule 12, violating this rule will never result in a block, only a warning.
11. No stealing copyrighted art or anything else.
    • Art stealing or using AI-Generated Imagery will result in a firm warning, more then 3 warnings will result in a 2 day to 2 week block time.
12. If text has is surrounded with [] like [this] it was rule breaking content that was redacted by admins.
13. Do not interact with raiders or vandals as this will give them attention which is the only thing they want.
14. You must have a profile picture to post on discussions, if you post on discussions without a profile picture the post will be removed and you will be notified of this rule.
    • No user can be blocked for violating this rule.
15. ”Pinglists” are not allowed in posts unless the people/person being pinged consents to being pinged.
    • A “Pinglist” is defined as pinging someone or multiple people during your post to give those people unwanted notifications for the post.
16. Do not make posts directed at an individual, if you need go tell someone something use their message wall, not discussions.

Locking Posts

• Every post will be locked after it reaches 100 replies unless it is a Roleplaying post, if it is the post will be locked after 500 replies.
• However if the replies becomes completely off topic from the post it may be locked before the 100 replies limit, this is why most posts are locked around 50 replies.
