Dreams are created by Stinger Flynn in an attempt to persuade the player to his perspective by putting himself and other characters into a realistic setting that they can understand.
Overview[]
Stinger's Perspective[]
The first dream sequence is a direct conversation to the player given by Stinger Flynn unlike the other dreams which uses a story to give his point. Stinger Flynn calls the beach his wonderful home or at least what is supposed to be his home. He talks about how they depths of the facility cause you to do things out of your nature and when he believes he has gone too far off his original course he heads to his former containment room to meditate. He informs the player that the none of what they are seeing is real, but it very much could be real and to do that he needs the children. He comforts the player by telling them that he will practice the safest of procedures and that whatever he does with the adults he will leave one alive and sane. He admires their courage and gives them the ability to walk away so that they don't lose the chance to live and see their child again.
Road Trip[]
The second dream begins telling the story of Stinger Flynn dragging some the others along on his journey to get the beach. You wake up inside the Stinger Mobile where Banban says hello before asking Stinger Flynn how much longer it will take to arrive at the placed called the beach and Stinger Flynn admits that they are lost. Banban and Opila Bird both get annoyed at Stinger Flynn for messing up his one job, Stinger Flynn responds by say that he is struggling to locate the being that asked for his opinion, before Banban asks if he can put some sort of song on which Stinger Flynn obliges. Banban ask Opila and Captain Fiddles about they think of the music with varying responses. Stinger Flynn complains about Banban's constant talking which is interrupting his focus on the road which Banban points out doesn't exist. Banban says that you should never trust a Jellyfish to which Opila aggreges causing Stinger Flynn turns around to shut Banban up but ends up making the car crash into a giant cactus.
Crashed Camping[]
The third dream picks up shortly after the Road Trip dream. As the player wakes up Banban's says hi and tells them to eat some of the food they collected before realizing that they ate all of it. Banban apologizes for eating so much while Stinger Flynn simply states that he ate his required amount of nutrients without guilt. Nabnab who was chasing after the car before the crash has the lost vegetable but see's the player need something and hands it over. Stinger Flynn is surprised that a spider could ever show kindness but quickly shoves it off as Banban states that Jumbo Josh would love these vegetables. Stinger Flynn expresses that he is glad that Jumbo Josh is not bothering them with his irritating presence which causes Banban to ask Stinger Flynn why he hates Jumbo so much. Stinger Flynn says that hate is one of two emotions that he cannot control when ask what the other one is he responds with sorrow. Banban immediately regrets asking as Stinger Flynn asks how anyone can be happy in a world like ours. Banban responds by reminding Stinger Flynn that life is too short to be sad all the time but gets the response that their lives aren't. Banban doesn't know what to do and tries to ask the Captain and Nabnab for ideas but gets interrupted by a loud noise in the background. Banban asks what could have made that noise as Stinger Flynn passes it off as a creature that lives in the ecosystem. Choo Choo Charles runs into the camp and picks up Banban trying to eat him before Nabnab jumps in and bonds with the fellow spider and before anyone can process what just happens the car explodes.
Bus Stop Waiting[]
The fourth dream continues the journey after the Crashed Camping Dream. As the player wakes up Banban exclaims that they are a sleepy fellow, but they should probably go back to sleep as they are still waiting for their bus. Soon after a buss shows up, but Stinger Flynn expresses that it's the wrong one and that they have to keep waiting. Banban tired of everything that has happened says that he doesn't want to go to the beach anymore but Stinger Flynn states that they must go to the beach and that they have no way to go home. Banban says that he and the Captain can figure something out. Stinger Flynn insults the captain calling him dumber than the bench he is sitting on as another bus pulls up. Captain Fiddles walks up and gets on it despite being told it's the wrong bus causing him to get kidnapped. As Banban and Stinger Flynn thinks about what to do Nabnab chases after the bus just to get run over by another bus. As they state their losses Banban acknowledges another bus which comes straight towards the player.
