Garten of Banban 0 is the newest installment of the Garten of Banban Franchise. It is a prequel to Garten of Banban V, which makes it the first installment of the game, chronologically. This installment was designed to foreshadow the events of Garten of Banban VIII

- Garten of Banban 0 had a long development time because the Euphoric Brothers were developing Unplagued at the same time, meaning the game was in development for months prior to its reveal.[1]
- Syringeon has the same look as he does in Garten of Banban VII. This is because he was made before most of the other cases.
- Garten of Banban 0 and Garten of Banban VII have the longest release development gap, being 287 days.
- This is the second and only other mainline game to be free.
- Garten of Banban 0 is the first Garten of Banban game to have achievements on launch.
- It is also the first game to have achievements available for PC.
- Garten of Banban 0 is the first released Garten of Banban game to be a prequel.
