Garten of Banban 5 is presumably a prequel to Garten of Banban.
Overview
Not much is known currently on Garten of Banban V aside from the Stalker being a prominent character featured in it. It has been speculated by fans that this game takes place before the events of Bring A Friend Day, as motivated by the Steam teaser images released, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

- Most of the Steam teaser images are identical to the Steam previews for Garten of Banban, just with a red-tinted filter overlaid on them, the description is also identical to Garten of Banban as well.
- This may possibly be a prequel or sidequel to the series, as the teaser shows the Stalker hiding on the first floor from the first game.
- Garten of Banban V most likely takes place before the first game due to the whiteboard in one of the steam images reading "Meet A Friend Day" (also called Bring A Friend Day) alongside a drawing of Opila Bird, which does not appear in the original Garten of Banban. Also, the Banban mural is saying "Sharing is caring, what's yours is mine!"
- This is the only installment so far that does not have a teaser trailer upon being announced.
- This is presumably the only game to have the favicon not look like the head of the character featured in its thumbnail until further proof in its release.
