Keycard Readers are a very important and useful object found all throughout Banban's Kindergarten. They are activated by scanning a Keycard that has the matching color as the Keycard Reader. Keycard Readers can mostly be found already enabled, but sometimes are found deactivated. The Player can enable a Keycard Reader using the Drone to activate a Wall Button that is linked to the Keycard Reader (or vise versa) or the Player can activate another Keycard Reader that is linked to the previous Keycard Reader to open it. Most of the Keycard readers are used for Doors, closets and Worker lifts, though sometimes they can be used to activate buttons.

Blue Keycard Reader[]
In GoB, One opens the door to the Electrical Room, another one turns on the light in the Playground. Also in GoB II, the one opens the door to the Parkour Room, another one opens the door that goes back to the hallway. And in GoB III, One starts sheriff toadsterโs game. One opens the Medical Sector. One starts the Nabnaleena Surgery.
Yellow Keycard Reader[]
In GoB, One activates a wall button. One drops the couch and ones starts it up. Also in GoB III, One opens the Assembly Call Room. There is 8 of them in the Jumbo Watch Room, 2 of them are in the Red Room. 5 in Stinger Flynn Mode.
Orange Keycard Reader[]
In GoB, One starts the emergency stop and three of them are in or near the Orange Room. Also in GoB II, One open 2 orange doors. One opens the Cannon Game Room.
Trivia[]
- On the console version of Garten of Banban II, after completing the employee punch in the puzzle, it is noticeable that the texture is incomplete on the sides, it is unknown if the others have this error, as it is on the top of the reader.
