Overview[]
Miss Mimicker is a supporting antagonist who appears in Garten of Banban VIII: Anti Devil. She is a member of the new Reclamation Team, tasked with killing fugitives and enemies of Syringeon.
Personality[]
Little is known about Miss Mimicker's personality, but she appears to be manipulative and taunting, using mimicry to lure and provoke the Player with deceptive audio and a creepy, smiling demeanor. She also seems to enjoy playing with her victims before attacking, as she gestures for the Player to run before chasing after them.
Appearance[]
Miss Mimicker is a light-blue slow loris with two enormous yellow eyes, a dark blue heart-shaped nose, and dark blue ears. She wears a shock collar around her neck, like Varzah and Clawrenzo. She usually walks on all fours, but during her chase scene, she stands on her hind legs to move faster, using the walls for balance.
Gameplay[]
When the Player is exploring a warehouse, looking for a way to reach Flumbo, Miss Mimicker watches the Player from the shadows and plays an audio of a child’s voice to attract them. Miss Mimicker then starts to mimic many of the Case voices to further provoke the Player, as she walks toward the Player, staring at them and slowly smiling menacingly. Then she mimics Sheriff Toadster to say "RUN." as she moves her frontal left paw, gesturing that the Player should run. Then, she starts chasing down the Player, as they use their new remote to activate some panels. At the end of the chase, the Player meets up with Flumbo and closes an iron gate, decapitating Miss Mimicker.
At the end of the game, the Player enters a room where they hear their child saying "Mommy! Daddy! You finally found us!". However, they then hear Brushista’s voice, and Miss Mimicker’s severed head is then thrown into the room, revealing that the child’s voice was just mimicked by Brushista using Miss Mimicker's head. Brushista then tells the Player that they need her as much as she needs them. The door then closes behind the Player and the game ends.
Trivia[]
- She is very similar or based on Miss Delight from Poppy Playtime as both have the word ''Miss'' on their names and both get decapitated by a metal door
- Although it is astronomically unlikely, Miss Mimicker was probably inspired by Mimic from My Singing Monsters, as Mimic imitates the sounds of nearby monsters and Miss Mimicker can mimic the voices of nearby mascots/rejects.
- Miss Mimicker is one of five Garten of Banban VIII: Anti Devil characters whose names were leaked on Trademarkia, the others being Flumbo, Clawrenzo, Oony Balloony, and Varzah.
- When Miss Mimicker is about to chase the Player, she makes a gesture to drive them away, which may mean that some members of the new Reclamation Team may have been forced to join. This is further backed up by her collar likely being a shock collar to keep her from disobeying Syringeon.
- Miss Mimicker is the fourth Reclamation Team character to be introduced in the game. The others being Sheriff Toadster, Clawrenzo and Varzah in order.
- Apparently, Miss Mimicker is referred to as "Boris Loris" in the game files.
