Queen Bouncelia
Overview[]
Queen Bouncelia, also known as Case 14 and the Queen, is an overarching protagonist of Garten of Banban IV. She's a mascot of Banban's Family and ruler of the Kingdom. She is very close to Sheriff Toadster after taking him in when he was abandoned by the Kindergarten; similar to all other member of The Kingdom including herself. She allows him to capture 'criminals' and hold them in her Kingdom.
Appearance[]
Queen Bouncelia looks like a purple kangaroo. She has an iris color scheme; her entire body is iris apart from her front chest area and the insides of her ears which both have a lighter, desaturated shade of purple. As for the kangaroo pouch, on her mural there are a few little eyes of The Naughty Ones seen from the darkness inside it even though The Naughty Ones don't have eyes. She also wears a golden crown that has 3 ruby jewels on the front, and she holds a scepter that has a purple-pink heart with a variety of shades of pink.
Gameplay[]
Garten of Banban III[]
Queen Bouncelia is first seen in Garten of Banban III, but she is only seen in depictions throughout the game.
Garten of Banban IV[]
The monster form of Queen Bouncelia is finally revealed in Garten of Banban IV, in which she first appears in a room while sitting on a huge throne. Sheriff Toadster takes the Player there, and they begin talking about the player, and how Queen Bouncelia and Sheriff Toadster are going to try and help the player find their child. Once the player and Sheriff Toadster begin looking for the elevator parts, Sheriff Toadster mentions that Bittergiggle has gone rogue and is trying to make Queen Bouncelia laugh, but this shouldn't happen as this means The Naughty Ones will escape.
The next time Queen Bounceila appears is when Sheriff Toadster, the player, and Little Beak get back from finding the first elevator part. While Sheriff Toadster and Little Beak stay at the elevator, the player goes to visit Queen Bounceila. Queen Bouncelia admires the player for going to such lengths to get their child back, and gives them a blue keycard as a reward. Queen Bouncelia then reveals that the kingdom has reached a population of five, explaining that Banban had shown up while the player was away. Seeing how damaged Banban was, Queen Bounceila told him to stay in the Infirmary.
When the player gets back from finding the second elevator part, they talk to Queen Bouncelia again, although she only gave a request to the player and tells them that more "friends" have arrived while they were away.
When the player gets back from finding the third elevator part, they visit Queen Bouncelia's throne room, however, Bittergiggle and Kittysaurus confront Queen Bouncelia and Little Beak. Bittergiggle then explains that he is here to deliver his jokes, but this causes Queen Bouncelia to jump down from the top ledge, accidentally causing Little Beak to fall into some givanium. Little Beak transforms into a hulking monstrosity and fights Kittysaurus off camera. Bittergiggle talks more about his "jokes" before telling one of his own. Even though the joke he told was terrible, Queen Bouncelia laughs anyway, causing The Naughty Ones to escape.
Garten of Banban VI[]
Queen Bounceila never makes any appearance, and at the beginning of the game, Bittergiggle proclaims her likely dead.
Garten of Banban VII[]
Although Queen Bounceila never made an appearance in the game, she was mentioned by Syringeon after he sprayed the scepter piece with the scent of Jumbo Josh, and there is an 'X' next to her name on Syringeon's chart, meaning she is presumed dead. Her fate as of the end of the game still remains unclear.
Garten of Banban VIII: Anti Devil[]
Once again, Queen Bounceila never makes a physical appearance, but she is briefly mentioned by Sheriff Toadster as he accuses the player for causing everything to go wrong. Later on, her crown is seen in the Tower of the Surgeon, which reveals it was found and collected by Brushista. She also appears in some artwork by this same aforementioned character.Personality[]
Queen Bouncelia is a kind caring motherly figure who always tries to put the needs of those below her before her own. She is willing to help people who need help through her sympathetic nature and does not let anyone tell her what to do.

- The surface?
- That’s a new one. Did they say what they’re doing down here?
- I think I know. A worried parent can spot another worried parent from a mile away.
- I’ve heard the screams and the crash from above. You’re here in search of your child.
- I fear you won't find them here. Most humans have ceased to come down to this floor for quite some time now.
- We can help with getting you back up to the upper floors, but allow us to introduce ourselves first.
- I am Queen Bouncelia, the ruler of the Kingdom.
- This is Sheriff Toadster, the protector and only other citizen of the kingdom.
- I apologize on behalf of both myself and the Sheriff for the rough reception.
- We’ve all been a little on edge lately. I’m sure you can understand.
- How’s the elevator back up doing, sheriff?
- Do you know where these parts are?
- The coming hours will be rough for us all, but this is not your battle, parent.
- Sheriff, accompany the parent and go grab the missing parts.

- Welcome back. I hope your journey was worth it, and the elevator a little more usable.
- I wanted to let you know how much I respect the things you are doing to get your child back.
- Putting your life on the line and fighting forces far more powerful than you like that is just... Admirable...
- As a token of my respect, please accept this blue keycard. While not much, it is what we consider a symbol of trust.
- I am proud to announce that you are officially a citizen of the kingdom. Feel tree to stay as much as you like, even after you get your child back.
- The kingdom can now proudly announce that it has reached a population of five!
- I said five because a friend of yours showed up while you were away.
- He was in damaged state so I told him to stay in the infirmary.
- He asked for you, so perhaps you could speak with him when you have time?
Third encounter:[]
- Welcome back. I hope your journey was worth it, and the elevator a little more usable.
- We're very close to having it fully fixed.
- I pray for the safety of the children you're looking for.
- When do you find them, can I ask for a favor?
- Could you try and occasionally come visit? It's been so long since we've had a visitor that isn't trying to harm us.
- Please do consider my request. Other than that I don't want to keep you any longer.
- Also, it appears more of your friends have arrived if you'd like to go check on them.
After Bittergiggle arrives to the Kingdom:[]

Trivia[]
- Queen Bouncelia was originally called "Queen Leapcelia". This can be seen in the Clock intro for GoBB III, where her original name can be seen in her depiction.
- She is one of the 8 giants in the series so far, the others being Jumbo Josh, Aqua Fiddles, Zolphius, Stinger Flynn, Kittysaurus, Little Beak and Nabnab in their Hellish forms and Ramamba.
- Queen Bouncelia is one of the few experimental Cases with children in the kindergarten, the other two being Opila Bird and Tarta Bird.
- In Queen Bouncelia's mural, she wields her Scepter, but in her monster form, she does not have it. This is because it was locked away to protect The Kingdom and prevent Sir Dadadoo from taking it if he escaped her pouch.
- Queen Bouncelia's Case Reports state she has DNA from "Macropus Rufus", which is an outdated scientific name for the Red Kangaroo. The current scientific name for the Red Kangaroo is Osphranter Rufus.
- Since this name change is a relatively new scientific development (it was proposed in 2015 and accepted more widely in 2020) it is possible the Euphoric Brothers were simply unaware of it during the writing process of the Banban games.
- "Macropus" is the genus name for other kangaroos, like the Western Grey Kangaroo (Macropus Fuliginosus) and the Eastern Grey Kangaroo (Macropus giganteus).
- In Garten of Banban VIII: Anti Devil, her crown and damaged scepter can be found in the Tower of the Surgeon, presumably placed there by Brushista.
