This page covers the scrapped content of the Garten of Banban series, this includes locations from October 2022 - Present Day.
Most of this info was revealed through SteamDB, the Banban Chronicles, or the game filesโฆ.
Scrapped[]
Flumbo and Original Name - October 2022[]

At the very start of development, Banban was originally known as Flumbo while the game was originally known as Flumbo and Friends. This name and concept were scraped early on as they felt Flumbo and Flumbo and Friends were not unique enough names. They then renamed the names to Croopa and Garten of Croopa but closer to release they renamed it one last time to Banban and Garten of Banban.[1][2]

- Banban is still often referred to as Flumbo in the game files to this day.
- The character Flumbo was not scrapped in favor of Banban. He is only named after the scrapped name.
Original Banban Model and Game Icon - October 2022[]
The original Banban model was made which almost perfectly matches up with the final version with the exception the textures being less veiny. The original render was created on October 4th, 2022. This icon was added on November 29th, 2022, and was most likely one of the first things created for the series as there are no records of when the model was first made.[3]
1st Script - October 2022[]
Originally Opila Bird would not appear in Garten of Banban, instead the map would be a much different and smaller kindergarten where Banban would stalk the player as they went through the kindergarten completing puzzles. The Jumbo Josh sequence would not happen, as instead the Player would advance through more of the facility seen in Garten of Banban II as Banban continued to stalk them.[4][5][6]
Candidates for what would become Stinger Flynn - October 2022[]
Right before they seriously got started on the script for Garten of Banabn they decided they needed a sixth character to compliment the other characters colors.[7] They came up with many characters with two still being documented which are Humble Bee a bee that would encourage people to be Humble but was scrapped for being too simple,[8][9] and Oscar Star a one eyes, multi armed, tower of teeth which would be split between three characters Stinger Flynn, Nabnab, and Syringeon.[10][11]

- Despite stating the multiple arms went to Syringeon it is more likely that it was intended to be the multiple tentacles from Stinger Flynn and the eye qualities was split between Stinger Flynn and Nabnab since Stinger Flynn gets only one eye and Nabnab gets an extra eye.
2nd Script - November 2022[]
In the second script for the first game Stinger Flynn was going to be the main antagonist of Garten of Banban where he would be watching you and blocking your path with tentacles which you would have to get him to move.[12] On Discord one of The Euphoric Brothers, Ghepo revealed that this was in a very early stage of development.(Citation needed)
Upwards Door - December 2022[]
It seems that the colored doors in the GOBB trailer seem to go upward. The doors slide horizontally now.
Old Chase Sound - December 2022[]
In the Garten of Banban Trailer, we could hear a ghost-like different sound when Opila bird chases you. When the game came out, the sound was unused.[13]
Garten of Banban II Fiddles Fall - January 2023[]
This image was added on January 2nd 2023 to the Garten of Banban II steam page. It shows a room in which is a large drop with the depictions of the Captain Fiddles Crew and a warning sign saying "FALL HAZARD"(Citation Needed)
Banbanโs Chase- January 2023 In Garten of Banban II, Banban was originally going to have a chase sequence in a hallway but it was scrapped very early on in development.[14]
Garten of Banban Office - January 2023[]
This office space was added to the Garten of Banban II steam page of January 2nd 2023 which is even before the game was released. In the room we can see a more realistic style for the game showing desks and chairs as well as many pillars holding up the roof with unfamiliar lights hanging on the roof. This "office" idea was later repurposed into a room in Garten of Banban II.
Garten of Banban III Quote Room - March 2023[]
The original screenshots for Garten of Banban III shows an empty room with rails around it showing quotes on the wall and a scrapped feature for the Drone where it shines a bright green light exposing what's in the darkness. The Drone's light feature was reused for Garten of Banban VI
Queen 'Leapcelia' - March 2023[]
The name Queen 'Leapcelia' can be seen in the Garten of Banban III's clock screen. Its name is actually Queen Bouncelia, to all intents and purposes, and the previous name might've been a placeholder name, or a early name. Either the developers forgot to replace the name.

Sheriff Toadster and the Opila Chick with the Player on the Purple Catwalk - July 2023[]
Sheriff Toadster and the Opila Chick was on the Purple Catwalk in the GoBB IV Trailer with the Player, but in GoBB IV the Player walks on it with Banban tied to Mr. Kabob Man.
Mysterious Movie Poster-May 2024[1][]
In Garten of Banban 7, you can find this movie poster in the game files.
Scrapped Credits Art[]
Art that was supposed to be used in the end credits of Garten of Banban 0, depicting the fight between Banban and the Naughtified Monsters that happened off screen at the end of Garten of Banban 6, revealed by Gerld on his X profile. it was scrapped due to being too cartoony and not communicating well enough that Banban lost the fight.
Repurposed[]
Unused Cyan Opila Bird Design[]
In the original Garten of Banban, an unused design for Opila Bird was seen out of bounds, this however was repurposed into Tarta Birdโs design with minor tweaks, such as Opila Bird's red eyes, more hands over him, like Opila Bird, and a more orange-ish beak.
Dead Aqua Fiddles[]
In the trailer for Garten of Banban II, We can see Aqua Fiddles dead on a cabinet. This never made it into the actual game and Aqua Fiddles got replaced by Green Fiddles, with Aqua Fiddles being an obstacle the player must defeat in order to progress.
"Behind You :)"[]
In the trailer for Garten of Banban II, the Note in the Obstacle Course Area says "Behind You :)", mostly likely meaning that Banban is going to hit you in 1 second. However, it was changed in the Garten of Banban II probably because it was located in the wrong area, and it was changed to "If you read this fast enough, you might escape. I plan to sneak up on you and hit you very hard while you are occupied with reading this note :)"

Garten of Banban II Higher Pitched Picking Up Sound[]
The sound when you pick up a object or item in Garten of Ban Ban II used to play a higher pitch seen in the Garten of Ban Ban II Trailer. The reason is unknown. The most likely reason could be due to the fact the game wasn't released yet and still in development.

Garten of Banban VI Mutants Room[]
Before it was released, the Steam page for Garten of Banban VI had images of a room showcasing all the depictions of the Mutants. Upon the game's release, the images had been removed from the steam page and replaced with gameplay screenshots. The images were reused for Garten Of Banban VII's Steam page, with one difference; Sir Dadadoo's inclusion, being placed next to Kittysaurus., and Brushista next to Sir Dadadoo, and Banban next to Chamataki and Tamataki. Once again, when the game came out, these images were removed and were added onto the Garten of Banban VIII steam page.
Early Baby Opila Birds Room - January 2023[]
This extremely early version of the Baby Opila Birds Room was added to the Garten of Banban II steam page on January 2nd 2023 which like the previous room was before the original Garten of Banban was released. in the room we can see a similar area but instead of a variety of colored trees there are only orange trees as well as grass and unfamiliar light bulbs hanging from the ceiling.
Syringeonโs original design[]
In a card game where Euphoric Brothers would make up sketches, They had made a blue thing with a mouth on the tippy top and 2 arms with tools on it, this was the original design for Syringeon.
This character is commonly referred to as Fuchsia, as seen in Garten of Banban 0 Mobile.
Bittergiggle in the Garden[]
In the trailer for Garten of Banban VI, we can see that the Player was followed by Bittergiggle in the Garden Area in the Conditioning sector.
Drone Remote 2.0 at the Beginning of the Chapter[]
In Garten of Banban 7 VII, the drone remote 2.0 that the Player should have had at the beginning of the game was cut. You can verify this by simply watching the GoBB VII trailer. It is unknown about why this was removed although it can be presumed it was given in all shots to make the order of events less known.
