Overview[]
Stinger Flynn Mode is a mechanic exclusive to Garten of Banban III's dream sequences. In the game mode the Parent takes control of a smaller version of Stinger Flynn that can shoot bolts of electricity.
Mechanics[]
The movement is modified in Stinger Flynn Mode granting a higher jump for progression and the ability to shoot electricity (via right click) from your tentacles which replaces the drone. The electricity has a slight curve to its movement forcing the Parent to aim slightly higher on longer distance shots.
Puzzles/Minigames[]
There are two Puzzles/Minigames that use these mechanics both featured in the first and second dream sequences.
First Dream Sequence (Cannon Game)[]
The first dream sequence features redoing the puzzle of the cannons in the pirate room with the help of Stinger's abilities, afterwords they meet Slow Seline, who will tell us to hide because "they" are coming (probably referring to the Reclamation team). After this, the Parents eyes close and the dream ends.
Second Dream Sequence (Moving Buttons)[]
The second dream sequence includes going past the Opila Room into the Button Room where a minigame progresses around speeding up buttons after each round. After beating the Parent goes into a room filled with Givanium and the dream ends.
Trivia[]
- Stinger Flynn canonically has the electric ability but was never mentioned in the games due to it feeling unneeded to explain.[1]
- The brothers may bring back this mechanic in the near future for a new dream sequence.[1]
