"Be the surgeon to someone's broken heart!"

- Syringeon

Overview[]

Syringeon is a mascot in Banbanโ€™s Kindergarten. He first appeared in Garten Of Banban VII as a ally and antagonist.

Appearance[]

Depiction[]

Syringeon has a vibrant cerise coloration and his head shape is reminiscent of a hammerhead worm. He possesses four dexterous arms that function as specialized tools, each fulfilling a specific purpose. While the exact purposes of these tools remain unspecified, it's safe to say they contribute to Syringeon's medical capabilities.

Monster[]

Syringeon retains his signature cerise coloration, but now boasts a more intricate appearance with protruding veins. The surgical tools he wields are more dirty, and his eyes have undergone a transformation, now featuring solid white sclera with bright, circular black pupils.

Personality[]

Syringeon comes off as an arrogant and blunt surgerial veteran from his very first lines. He has an obsession with his craft, constantly creating duplicates of Case 4B (the citizens) to refine his surgical skills. He is seen to be incredibly controlling based on the rules of Cityngeon, which allow him to legally arrest, kidnap, and execute anyone in the city at any time for any reason. These rules are generally used to gather subjects and assistants for his operations, who he can easily "repurpose" if they prove too incompetent for his liking. Despite his morally questionable actions, he has relatively noble goals and genuinely believes his work, even if it involves some unwilling subjects, is for the greater good.

Syringeon has a strong distaste towards Humans, likely due to them locking him away in the lower levels of the facility long ago.

Gameplay[]

Garten of Banban IV[]

Syringeon does not appear physically, but the player can find his depiction and quote in a room after the first encounter with Bittergiggle, but the room is locked by a green keycard reader and a button. The keycard for the door can be found after Banban and Nabnab have fought by interacting with the button on Mr. Kabob Man's back, opening a door with said green keycard inside, when you bring it back to the Ventilation Sector, you can use the keycard you got to make the button usable, then hit the button with your drone, and when you get inside the room where Syringeon's depiction is located similar to Tamataki & Chamataki's depiction, it also has a Board with writing on it, which reads "Case 27, Type 6: Givanium Entrapment". Also we can find his depiction on "Wanted" paper.

Garten of Banban VI[]

While Syringeon still doesn't appear physically, he is mentioned several times in this game. First of all, his surgical room is seen in the game's clock, where he has a board of three tasks: Protect The Queen which has an X next to it, Protect The Scepter Piece which is surrounded by red ink with a ? next to it, and Hide with a tick next to it.

The next time Syringeon is mentioned is when the player first enters the room seen in the game's clock, when two things of note appear: his Children making their appearance, and his own mission in which the Player has to look for lollipops for his patients.

Syringeon is then mentioned at the end of the game by Sir Dadadoo who is looking for him and Sheriff Toadster. At the very end of the chapter, Banban tells the player to "Look for the Surgeon" before sacrificing himself to The Naughty Ones.

Garten of Banban Vll[]

Syringeon's first appearance is in the dark room with hanging dead bodies. His silhouette can be seen before a Givanium Citizen knocks out the player.

After a short cutscene with him and the citizen, the player has to set up a trap for him using a Naughty One. Once Syringeon is caught by it, the player kills it for him and earns his trust.

Story[]

Before 2016 | Event 7.5[]

Syringeon was created to help with the dangerous surgical procedures needed to bring cases to life. But due to Syringeon having one of the lowest KAS scores they began looking for potential replacement concepts and deemed him permanently not ready for presentation.

Before 2016 | Event 14[]

Sheriff Toadster is created using the genomes of a human donor and a frog donor. He only acts like a simple toad, hopping, and ribbiting around.

Before 2016 | Event 23[]

The scientists at the kindergarten are informed that they must abandon development on Cases 4, 9, 14, & 17 aka Syringeon, Sheriff Toadster, Queen Bouncelia, and Bittergiggle. So they decide to dump the 4 abandoned experiments in level -5 of the Kindergarten. In the lower level they find Sir Dadadoo, another abandoned experiment. Then they shift all resources dedicated to Syringeon to Stinger Flynn due to his much higher levels of intelligence.

2016 | Event 25[]

Queen Bouncelia, and Sir Dadadoo begin creating their own cases after Syringeon gives them the information on how to. With the help of the other kingdom members Sir Dadadoo begins creating a plan to overthrow management and take control of the kindergarten. Shortly after the plan is created an expedition is sent down to their level that reveals that they have been creating sub cases, aka โ€˜The Mutants Belowโ€™. The expedition also finds out that they are planning a rebellion, the expedition team gives everyone except Sir Dadadoo the choice of doing their rebellion and destroying everything theyโ€™ve achieved or not. Case 18 (Sir Dadadoo) was not asked this question due to him being very for the bloody battle a rebellion would bring.

2016 | Event 26[]

The Kingdom attempted to launch a rebellion against the Kindergarten's management. This plan failed, but instead of backing down and sparing the other Cases from the chaos, Sir Dadadoo used Queen Bouncelia's Scepter to create an army of Naughty Ones and tried to use them to overthrow the kindergarten as well as possessing the minds of some Cases, known as naughtification. All of the other kingdom members refused to go along with his evil ways of completing their plan, and instead turned on him and stole back Queen Bouncelia's Scepter and used it to seal Sir Dadadoo and the rest of the Naughty Ones inside of Queen Bouncelia's pouch. Sir Dadadoo held a grudge against those of the Kindergarten, especially Queen Bouncelia and Syringeon.

2016 | Event 30[]

It was planned that six cases (being Stinger Flynn, Banban, Banbaleena, Captain Fiddles, Opila Bird, and Jumbo Josh)[1] would be present on Bring a Friend Day, but many were behind in development, with the only cases ready for presentation being Case 12G (Captain Fiddles) and Case 13 (Stinger Flynn). Despite this, the six chosen cases were brought to the Outer Sector to be presented to the children, their friends, parents, workers, and the company owners. During this time, the cases present acted as they were supposed to. Uthman Adam and Weverly Mason were inside of the facility during the event, but planned to sneak out and board a flight to Madrid, Spain as they suspected that the Ball Pit was likely to collapse under the weight of the children on it.[2] Sooner than expected, the Ball Pit collapsed under the weight, killing the children in the ball pit, and setting off a chain reaction that would destroy the facility.

Zolphius awakened in the abyss, Banban transformed into his Hellish form, and the animalistic instincts of the rest of the mascots were triggered causing them to break out of their cells and to go on a murderous rampage after the children, workers, and parents.[3][4] It also caused something dangerous to escape deep on level -4 of the kindergarten, as mentioned by one worker left on floor -4 in the Employee Training Sector. [5] Queen Bouncelia and Sheriff Toadster also heard the screams, and Sheriff Toadster witnessed some of the chaos above, making him believe his friends had gone mad and thus labelled them as criminals. A surgery in the Arboreal/Aquatic Sector was also taking place during Bring a Friend Day, preformed on Nabnaleena with the doctors completing everything except the Givanium injections. However, before they could complete the final steps to bring Nabnaleena to life, they heard the screams from above. Nabnab broke out of his containment, causing the doctors to abort the surgery and eventually suffering an unknown fate.

Stinger Flynn did not participate in the rampage, instead saving the living children from other monsters and taking them and Mason deeper into the facility.[6] Stinger Flynn took the group to a variety of areas, and at one point threw a party to distract the children.[7] A while later, Zolphius appeared and Mason told the children to not talk to him, and at some point after Stinger Flynn left.[8] [9] It is unkown what happened to Uthman Adam.

2016 | Interrogation (48)[]

The Player wakes up in The Interrogation Room with a table in front of them. Sheriff Toadster begins asking The Player which Monsters they have encountered before. The player answers the questions, and Sheriff Toadster transports them to The Queen. Queen Bouncelia realizes that The Player is looking for their child so she releases The Player and grants her citizenship to the kingdom. The Queen explains that she will help The Player find their children if she goes with Sheriff Toadster to find all 3 parts required to fix the elevator.

2016 | Naughty Ones Escape (50)[]

The Player runs to the Queen as she is cornered in her throne room by Bittergiggle & Kittysaurus, Bittergiggle informs the Queen that he is back to finally deliver his jokes and make the Queen laugh! Queen Bouncelia jumps down from the top of the room to defend her self but this causes Little Beak to fall into a giant barrel of Givanium which transformers her into a giant Givanium monster bigger than Opila Bird. Little Beak jumps out of the Givanium and roars as she attacks Kittysaurus, throwing herself and him down the stairs where they begin fighting. Bittergiggle says his joke and the Queen can barely hold her laughter and eventually fails saying โ€œthat was.. terrible, Hahahahhahahha! Hahahahah!โ€ Once this happens Queen Bouncelia is launched backwards and the Naughty Ones begin escaping her pouch as a giant bright purple light burst out of the pouch. Bittergiggle immediately begins chasing after Sheriff Toadster and The Player who are running towards the elevator. Sheriff Toadster remote opens every cell in the Infirmary just as they reach the elevator where Sheriff Toadster has also allowed Stinger Flynn to come along with them. The Player, Sheriff Toadster, and Stinger Flynn escape the kingdom as Floor -4 collapses.

2016 | Naughtification/Kingdom Collapse (51)[]

After the escape of the Naughty ones, the player sets out on a mission to find all 4 buttons on floor -5, which all must be activated to open a door to the Scepter room. In the Scepter Room, there is a chest containing The Scepter. After activating all 4 buttons Banban, The Player, & Bittergiggle enter the Scepter Room, when suddenly Nabnab comes and presses the button to open the chest. Inside of the chest is The Scepter, except it is missing a piece, which was taken by The Surgeon, who fled with it after the escape of The Naughty Ones. Sir Dadadoo moves into the room with his leeches following shortly behind. In an attempt to escape, Banban pretends to make friends with Nabnab, but just as Nabnab is calmed, Banban pulls out a syringe likely filled with the same solution that made him hellish, and injects it into Nabnab, which instantly turns him into his newly created Hellish form. Hellish Nabnab attacks Sir Dadadoo allowing Banban, Bittergiggle, & The Player to flee into the garden with a Naughty One following behind. The 3 exit the garden arriving at 2 worker lift shafts, one has a lift, and the other doesn't. Bittergiggle realizes that the Naughty Ones actually laugh at his jokes, so he chooses to fall into the empty shaft so that he can become their Jester. Banban and The Player continue ahead and get onto the 2nd lift, but Sir Dadadoo follows them and corners the exit, revealing that he has captured and Naughtified almost all of the Banban Gang. Banban steps out of the lift to hold off the Naughtified monsters and allow the Player to escape with the hope that they will find The Surgeon and free everyone. The Naughtified Cases brutally tear Banban apart covering him in scratch marks and ripping out his left eye. Banban quickly succumbs to his injuries...

However, in the teaser for Garten Of Banban VIII He has somehow gotten up and is lurking around Floor -7.

2016 | Bittergiggleโ€™s Death (53)[]

After the player searches throughout the city for information on the whereabouts of Jumbo Josh they end up at the Motel where a guest tells them they will give out information on Jumbo Josh if the Player stops the screaming in the top floor of the Motel. So the Player heads up and is meant with a screaming citizen pointing at a room, suddenly Hellish Naughtified Bittergiggle walks out of the room saying โ€œI remember you, you always hated my jokes!โ€ and begins chasing the player, The Player ends up jumping between building roofs with Bittergiggle following shortly behind until the reach a roof to far away to jump to however Toadster stands on top of the roof holding out his arms to catch the Player. So the Player jumps and is barely caught by Toadster, Naughtified Hellish Bittergiggle jumps onto the roof and Toadster throws one of his famous toadstars and Bittergiggle causing him to fall to the ground and denaughtifed. Toadster grabs Bittergiggle and holds him in his arms as he tells his final jokeโ€ฆ

2016 | Naughty Fight (54)[]

After collecting a sample on Joshโ€™s DNA and combining it with the Surgeonโ€™s piece of the scepter a lure is created for Jumbo Josh. However Sir Dadadoo and his Naughtified army appear first to confront The Surgeon just as he hoped he would. As the naughtified cases surround the square the Surgeon says โ€œYou and your army are about to get knackeredโ€ as Jumbo Josh shakes the ground making an appearance down the road. Jumbo Josh jumps up and begins beating his chest then he runs at Kittysaurus punching her straight in the face which knocks her against the courtyard wall, Banbaleena tryโ€™s to jump at Jumbo Josh but he just picks her up and throws her across the city like a doll, Nabnaleena jumps onto Jumbo Josh and crawls all over his body in circles confusing him as Tamataki and Chamataki charge at Jumbo Josh pinning him against the courtyard wall, however the impact force caused by the chameleon and turtle knocks Nabnaleena off of Josh and she falls behind, Jumbo Josh looks down and raises Tamataki and Chamataki above his head throwing them behind him into the city. Opila Bird and Tarta Bird charge at josh while screaming but Jumbo Josh just punches them away like ants, Kittysaurus gets back up charging at josh but he just punches his fist straight into her mouth throwing her head backwards so he can land another punch on the side of her head, he then grabs the top and bottom of her jaw and pulls it open as hard as he came breaking her jaw and knocking her unconscious. With all his Naughtified Monsters defeated Sir Dadadoo asks โ€œMaybe we can negotiate something?โ€ But Jumbo Josh just throws Dadadoo to the floor repeatedly punching him into either loss of consciousness or death. After all of them are defeated Jumbo Josh picks up the newly complete scepter and eats it while Syringeon screams โ€œNO DONT EAT IT!โ€ A large purple explosion comes out of the scepter from Joshโ€™s mouth as the screen is consumed in light.

Dialogue[]

Garten of Banban VII[]

First Encounter[]

  • Do you humans ever get easier to look at?
  • The limitations of your bodies disgust me.
  • Hand me the scissors.
  • At this very moment you might think of your self as unlucky. But I am here to tell you that you are actually privileged.
  • Privileged to be part of my operations. Youโ€™ll die as part of something greater than yourself, not as some loser that nobody will remember.
  • Those arenโ€™t the scissorsโ€ฆ
  • HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TEACH YOU THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HAMMERS AND SCISSORS?!
  • YOU USELESS WASTE OF RESOURCESโ€ฆ
  • YOU THINK GIVANIUM GROWS ON TREES? YOUโ€™RE GETTING REPURPOSED!

Failed Chase Scene[]

  • Youโ€™re in violation of patient rule number 1! (firstly in random word)
  • Youโ€™re done for! (firstly in random word)
  • Human Filth! (firstly in random word)
  • I'll kill you! (firstly in random word)
  • AGHH!
  • YOU SLIMY PATIENT!
  • KILL IT!
  • FINE! YOU GOT ME! KILL IT AND Iโ€™LL LET YOU GO!
  • Phewโ€ฆ Thank youโ€ฆ
  • Donโ€™t worry, Iโ€™m a surgeon of my word. I wonโ€™t hurt you. Not after saving me fromโ€ฆ Your own doingโ€ฆ
  • That said, the choice to volunteer for me will always be available.
  • I implore you to consider the opportunity.
  • In any case, we have much more important matters to discuss. Follow me.

Conversation 1 and Introduction to New Drone[]

  • A friend of mine and yours filled me in on most of the action that happened on the floor above.
  • They mentioned a nosy human parent being involved. Sound familiar?
  • Listen. I was trusted with the final piece of the scepter, and I do not plan on breaking this trust.
  • And to achieve that, I need your help.
  • Look at the destruction around you. This was all done with an incomplete scepter in the matter of seconds.
  • A full scepter in the hands of Dadadoo is the guaranteed death of all of us. Letโ€™s make sure it doesnโ€™t come to that.
  • And luck might just be on our side.
  • I imagine at this point youโ€™re familiar with this green specimen of incredible size and strength drawn on the board?
  • It attacked our city a few hours ago.
  • Most likely because itโ€™s either too scared to stay in the dark, or because the Naughty Ones and Sir Dadadoo arenโ€™t leaving it alone.
  • And how are we lucky that we got attacked, you ask?
  • My plan just happens to involve recapturing the green gorilla and using it to fight Sir Dadadooโ€™s army, and reclaim the scepter to its rightful owners.
  • Problem is, the green gorilla has vanished after the attack, and Iโ€™ve been trying to find it since.
  • Itโ€™s too dumb for Dadadooโ€™s powers to work on it, so Iโ€™m not too concerned about that.
  • Itโ€™s just a matter of finding this beast, imprisoning it, and releasing it when the time is right.
  • Oh, that reminds meโ€ฆ I have just the thing for you.
  • Letโ€™s see what my assistants have prepared for us, shall we?
  • I introduce to you Remote Control 2.0, a name I totally didnโ€™t make on the spot.
  • Take it, itโ€™s all yours.
  • I see a pathetic piece of equipment like your old remote, and the tinkerer inside me goes crazy.
  • Letโ€™s put it to the test. See that control panel over there? Thatโ€™s where youโ€™ll go when you need to take control of your drone.
  • This new remote will act like a password. Itโ€™ll give you access to the control panels.
  • Of course you can still use it the old fashioned way, but some situations will require you to view things from a different perspective.
  • Thereโ€™s a big button on the opposite side of this wall. Letโ€™s see if you can hit it while you maneuver your drone.
  • That wasnโ€™t too hard, was it?
  • It was? Too bad. Thatโ€™s your problem.
  • Weโ€™d better get to finding that green ape. I have no idea what Sir Dadadooโ€™s planning, but something tells me it ainโ€™t pretty.
  • Thereโ€™s a witness waiting for me on one of the streets, and Iโ€™ve got a mess that I gotta to clean up thanks to you. Why donโ€™t you go talk to them instead?
  • I told them I might not come myself anyway and instead send someone, so theyโ€™ll talk to you.
  • The city is lit up, so it should be safe from the naughty ones.

Conversation with Syringeon 1st dialogue[]

  • You shouldโ€™ve seen Dadadoo in his prime. That guy has ambition and dedication that Iโ€™ve yet to see contested.
  • What your kind has done to him and usโ€ฆ It forced him to dedicate all that potential to try and eradicate those that created him.
  • To ease your nerves, I donโ€™t think heโ€™s after you. Heโ€™s after those that betrayed him, which includes meโ€ฆ
  • If only we werenโ€™t such cowards when we were caught and actually stood by himโ€ฆ Maybe we wouldโ€™ve been victorious.

Conversation with Syringeon 2nd dialogue[]

  • The scepter was first given to the queen as some meaningless prop. To help her settle better into her role, yโ€™know?
  • All those extra features, like being able to take control of the brain component of those around you, is the work of a very talented surgeon and technician whoโ€™s too humble to name himself.
  • When the heart-shaped end of the scepter touches a givanium-based body, the scepter acts as a fessel, and transfers and prints a genetic code of the scepter holder into the receiverโ€™s brain component.
  • This allows these bodies to receive commands only from whoever takes control of it. We donโ€™t all have a transferable genetic code, but Sir Dadadoo and the queen do.
  • Waitโ€ฆ This is confidential information. I cannot tell you any more.

Conversation with Syringeon 3rd dialogue[]

  • Our mutual friend told me that Sir Dadadoo escaped because Bittergiggle made the queen laugh.
  • Next time you see him, you tell him that his jokes suck.
  • Thatโ€™s how you really hurt him.

Conversation with Syringeon final dialogue[]

  • I recall asking you to find Jumbo Josh, not stand here and make friends with me.

Meeting at Tool Mart[]

  • So thatโ€™s where it leads.
  • I sent a team of bounty hunters to check this building earlier.
  • Maybe thatโ€™s why they never came back.
  • Need I say what needs to be done next?
  • As usual, my assistants have proven themselves to be completely useless, and it is now up to us to do their jobs for them.
  • The future of everyone and everything is in all six of our hands.
  • Iโ€™ll stand out here and make sure nothing gets in or out. Sounds like a fair splitting of tasks to me.

Early Return from Tool Mart[]

  • Youโ€™re back already?
  • Look, I get it. Itโ€™s scary in there, but just find where the collar leads, and youโ€™ll be out of there in no time!

Return from Tool Mart[]

  • Ok, youโ€™re still in one piece. That must mean you didn't find him.
  • But waitโ€ฆ Whatโ€™s that you got there? Is that a givanium sample? He mustโ€™ve gotten hurt trying to flee the darkness.
  • This is even better than actually finding him. We can use this to lure him to wherever we want.
  • Come with me. I hate to use my supreme knowledge about Givanium against my own kind, but it is what it is.
  • After the facility abandoned the entire previous wave of cases and threw them in the lower levels, which included myself, they saw another use for me.
  • I had four arms equipped with important tools, and I would never tire or get hungry. The facility recruited me to participate in just about every facet of their operations.
  • On of the cases that came under my hand was Jumbo Josh.
  • Letโ€™s just say that we managed to create a case that behaves like an adult male gorilla more than an actual male gorilla.
  • Heโ€™s curious and heโ€™s territorial. Once he senses another gorilla in its proximity, heโ€™ll come.
  • This sample will smell like an entirely different specimen with a few tweaks. You see where Iโ€™m going?
  • Plus, Iโ€™ve prepared a little contraption that might also help us with pulling this off.
  • Sir Dadadoo wonโ€™t suspect a thing. This is the golden chance.
  • Weโ€™re out here making history and all some of us care about is going to a beach. Pfffโ€ฆ

Executing the plan[]

  • Alright. Iโ€™ve laced this scepter piece with the modified version of the sample you had.
  • Itโ€™s so potent that even the queen can smell from all the way up there. If sheโ€™s even still capable of smelling.
  • Ready? Brace yourself. I donโ€™t know how this going to go.
  • Dadadoo! You win! The scepter piece is yours!
  • Maybe it was too obvious?
  • We meet again old friend.
  • You have every right to be mad at us. I would be too. But you have to understand that we were forced to do what we did.
  • Destroy the old you, before it destroys you.
  • Isnโ€™t that what you used to tell us?
  • And it worked. You gave us all hope when we lost everything. You gave us something to fight for.
  • Now I need you to do the opposite. Destroy this new you. It had a bitter outlook on life that wouldโ€™ve never gotten us this far.
  • By turning on each other, they winโ€ฆ
  • Get in the box!
  • Yeah lad, you and your army are about to get knackered.
  • No! Donโ€™t eat it!

Final Scene after Player Wakes Up[]

  • Oh, good. Youโ€™re up.
  • The plan worked, but the scepter was destroyed in the processโ€ฆ
  • Itโ€™s better this way if you ask me. Nobody should have that much power.
  • Everyone that was brainwashed is back to normal now, and corpses of the Naughty Ones litter the streets.
  • I donโ€™t remember the last time I felt like I wasnโ€™t scared for my life. This feels good for a change.
  • Weโ€™ve been through a lot. You should rest, and when you wake up, we can discuss what weโ€™re going to do next.
  • Whatโ€™s that?
  • Weird. I would just leave it alone. You two should rest.
  • I donโ€™t think thatโ€™s a good idea, who knows what could be behind it? Just leave it alone.
  • Never play with the devil.
  • DOCTOR'S ORDERS!

Garten of Banban 0[]

To Banban[]

  • The results are out. You're being replaced. We have to do something, and I might just know what exactly,
  • I'll come by later and tell you everything.
  • We won't get another chance so it must be done tonight, or else they'll notice what I've altered.
  • I've also nabbed that doctor's samples as promised. I am certain they will drive away your... Issues... You'll be a new you.
  • You can control it. I know you can.
  • We can't be seen talking for much longer. You have to go now.

Trivia[]

  • The sentence ''Protect the Scepter piece'' on his whiteboard is marked a question mark. This could imply that Syringeon doesn't know if it is to be protected or not.
  • if you look carefully at one of the surgery bags in Syringeon's surgery chamber, you can notice a piece of paper with text saying "You are observant ".
  • Judging by the words of Givanium Citizens Syringeon does not quite follow the order of the city.
  • In the GoB Vll banner, Syringeon has white dots on his eyes, but they are not present in the game itself.
  • In the third conversation, Syringeon mentioned a mutual friend who provided information. This could Most likely be Sheriff Toadster, who has retreated to the city and talked with him before our arrivial.
  • Syringeon is the oldest known case so far, with his appearance being roughly the same in Garten of Banban 0. This could imply he is middle aged, around his 30s or 40s.
  • His mural in Garten of Banban IV possesses brown eyes due to possible color error. This was change in future games
  • It is implied that he was the one in Garten of Banban 0 who told Banban how to release Ramamba to get rid of Flumbo. This theory can be proven true as Syringeon tried to keep the Player from peeling the Banban drawing to reveal Flumboโ€™s description.
