Tarta Bird looks identical to Opila Bird, excluding the fact he's male and sports a different color scheme. His body is cyan and his wings, legs, and beak are vermillion.

Monster

Tarta Bird's actual monster form is mostly identical to his depiction, except for his head feathers that have the same color as his wings and beak, being vermillion, and his eyes which possess a glowing cyan color instead of a white or bloodshot red like Opila Bird. But unlike Opila, Tarta Bird doesn't seem to have any handprint marks on his body, and his screech is lower pitched as well.

Garten of Banban III

Tarta Bird debuted in Garten of Banban III. In the official trailer for Garten of Banban III, the Player is seen on his back being driven away to safety while fleeing from Banban in the race. His AI is simple. When the player enters to take the Opila Chick from a certain direction, Tarta Bird attacks. After collecting the chick, he suddenly climbs out of the raising in the roof and chases the player. The player must jump on the bird in order to tame it before going out the door towards Stinger Flynn, who has a small chat with the player. After Banban appears, the birds start fleeing from Banban and this starts a chase sequence, where the Player has small control of the bird. The chase sequence then ends, and the bird brings the player up to a ledge to protect them from the feud that suddenly occurs. During this, Tarta Bird loses his balance and falls off the ledge onto the floor below, presumably injured.

Garten of Banban IV

After returning with the second elevator piece Tarta bird and Opila Bird can be found locked up in The Infirmary with a broken neck. Though it is unknown how his neck is broken since Givanium creatures do not have bones.

Garten of Banban VI

Tarta Bird returns in Garten of Banban VI, but only briefly. He is seen at the end of the game where Sir Dadadoo reveals what he has done to victims of The Naughty Ones, and Tarta Bird is one of those victims. Tarta Bird is seen in the bottom right of the many corrupted monsters. When Banban tries to hold them off, Tarta Bird is fighting him alongside the other corrupted monsters off camera.

In Garten Of Banban VII tarta plays a small role. He appears in the Theatre when Trojan Tarta plays and chases us with Opila Bird.

Trivia

• Despite making his official debut in Garten of Banban III, he first appeared in Garten of Banban as a static model floating in the void out of bounds, making most people assume he was scrapped.
  • He also had Opila Bird's bloodshot eyes instead of his blue ones, along with her handprint marks.
• "Tarta" means "Cake" in Spanish Language, similar to "Opila" which means "Cake" in Basque.
• He is the father of the Opila & Tarta Chicks.
• Tarta Bird uses an old design for Opila Bird, so he might've been unused and out of bounds in Garten of Banban.
• The first Tarta Bird chick was with the other Baby Opila Chicks in Garten of Banban II, which might've been why Tarta Bird himself was out of bounds again.
• In the thumbnail for "Garten of Banban 3 OST - Pancreas", while it can be barely seen due to lighting, Tarta Bird's beak is yellow-orange instead of red.
• The Sheriff mentioned he and Opila were activately "looking for something", it can be assumed they were looking for their children.
• The way Tarta Bird sleeps in Garten of Banban IV is just like a flamingo.
• For some reason, his design in Garten of Banban: Punchrush has a yellow beak and feet instead of red; it also has red eyes instead of blue, similar to Opila Bird.
• Despite being a main character, he isn't part of either families
