Overview
Appearance
The Nanny is a minor character in Garten of Banban VI, resembling a pig cloaked in a vibrant oxford-blue hue. Her design incorporates intriguing bovine elements, most notably a flowing ballerina's skirt that seamlessly blends with her form. Her features include a light blue snout, and two luminous white eyes that gleam without pupils. A subtle scar adorns her upper chest, and her fingertips are tipped with delicate claws.
Gameplay
The Nanny can be seen after doing the conveying pipe parkour and picking up the lights on the wooden table, which results in the Player freezing in place while The Nanny sneaks towards and kills them. After reincarnating and being placed at the checkpoint, the lights will be replaced with a book instead, and clicking it will result in a prompt ''You feel strange...''
In Garten of Banban VIII: Anti Devil, in the sequence where Hellish Banban kills Syringeon, The Nanny can be seen standing off in the distance, observing them. It is unknown what her purpose here is.
Trivia
- The Nanny is not a mutant, as the current understanding of a mutant is The Mutants Below only.
- She is one of the only monsters in the series to completely lack a Depiction, with the others being the Opila and Tarta Chicks , the Givanium Infants, the Experiment Jesters, The Stalker, Senengeon, and Givanium Citizens unless this proven wrong in future games.
- The Nanny has the least screen time out of all characters, only appearing for a few seconds before jumpscaring you and not being able to be found again once the player is reincarnated.
- The Nanny is by far the most mysterious character. She only appears in the house one time when the player gets the light.
- Just like Slow Seline, if you use cheats to move yourself anywhere you want, The Nanny will still jumpscare you.
- Being jumpscared by The Nanny is actually not Death, it is instead a scripted death where regardless of what the Player does, they can't escape it. That's why there's no game over screen for it and it does not count as a legitimate Death.
- She is confirmed to be a pig in the Discord Server by the pig emoji next to her name in the roles section.
- Jule Games said she will be added in the Garten of Banban Roleplay.
- If you use any cheat to delete the door to get the second light without picking up the first one, The Nanny will appear as-if you grabbed the first light.
- It is theorized that she has a connection with Zolphuis due to the “English to Spanish” Dictionary after she kills you.
- In Missing Banban, she has her own shop in Banbanville. Interestingly, she will only speak in 1 word sentences per dialogue box if you interact with her.
- It is possible that she has some kind of connection with reincarnation, as her only current appearances are when she is about to kill or in scenes where death is present, and how she has shown the ability to manipulate the outcome and appearance of the immediate area of the future reincarnation. It's possible that she is the one who keeps reincarnating the Player, and allows them to survive insurmountable-looking situations.
